LIVERPOOL – Nine theatre companies from around the world will travel thousands of kilometres to Liverpool in October for the 17th Biennial Liverpool International Theatre Festival.

MAHONE BAY - A new gallery devoted entirely to portraiture has opened in Mahone Bay. The Mahone Bay Portrait House gives visitors free access to a collection that covers more than a century of Canadian art.

Port Medway's own Carroll Baker will perform at her Mem'ries Centre in Port Medway July 24 and 25, along with some of her 'girls' including Jolee, who just released a single from her new album, produced by Baker. Tickets are in short supply.

SOUTH SHORE – Seaside A Cappella, a competitive chorus based in the Bridgewater area, earned a first-place finish at the Harmony Incorporated Area 1 Convention and Contest competition held June 4-7.
