LIVERPOOL – The Liverpool Warriors (LRHS) and the South Queens Middle School (SQMS) cheer teams won the SSNS regional championships April 7 at SQMS.

BRIDGEWATER – The Empire Athletics South Shore U16 Level 1 team, Platinum has been invited to compete at the Canadian Finals, a part of the Cheer Canada All-Star Nationals being held April 9-12 in Mississauga, Ont.

BRIDGEWATER – A first period five-minute major for checking from behind and a game misconduct was all the visiting Capstone Colts needed to propel themselves to victory in game four of the best-of-seven Fred Fox divisional championship series on Sunday, March 22.

BRIDGEWATER – The South Shore Jr. B Lumberjacks won Game 7 Sunday, March 15 in front of more than 800 fans, to win the division semifinals over the East Hants Penguins.

BRIDGEWATER – The roof nearly came off the LCLC when more than 800 fans erupted when Brennan Coleman scored the overtime winner in game three of the Lumberjacks vs East Hants Penguins playoff series.

BRIDGEWATER – The South Shore Jr. B Lumberjacks defeated the visiting East Hants Penguins 2-1 in their first game of a best-of-seven Fred Fox division semifinals in a matinee tilt March 1. This is the third straight season that these two teams met in the semis.

BRIDGEWATER – The South Shore Jr. B Lumberjacks finished the regular season in second place in the Fred Fox division earning a bye into the second round of playoffs.

BRIDGEWATER – The South Shore Jr. B Lumberjacks had a busy, but successful week, winning two of three games and have just three games remaining.
