LIVERPOOL – The Liverpool International Theatre Festival (LITF) is thrilled to announce that applications are now open for amateur theatre companies from around the globe to participate in the 2026 edition of the award-winning festival.

LUNENBURG - Mahone Bay’s Flying Fish Theatre returns for the second season of The Rum Runners’ Ball, with 15 performances of Reid Campbell’s musical featuring quirky characters and original toe-tapping tunes, every Wednesday at Bluenose Lodge in Lunenburg that started June 18 and will run until Sept. 24.

The Maritime Concert Opera Society has been bringing opera to the South Shore of Nova Scotia for 22 years. Started by Nina Scott-Stoddart and Don Wilson in 2003, MCO has presented 48 productions, operas, operettas and concerts, showcasing young Maritime singers, for the most part.
