SOUTH SHORE – In just a few short years, Lucy – the only prognosticating lobster in the world – has garnered international attention and captured the imagination of thousands of people and has become a drawing card for winter tourism in Nova Scotia.

LUNENBURG – Flautist Patricia Creighton and pianist Peter Allen will join together for a beautiful afternoon of music Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. at St. John’s Anglican Church in Lunenburg.

MAHONE BAY – St. John’s Lutheran Mother and Daughter Choir will once again host their annual Christmas concert at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Mahone Bay.

SOUTH SHORE – Attending a concert by Mahone Bay’s Jon Mullane, along with special guest, Apryll Aileen will help put you in the Christmas mood if you are not already.

The South Shore Players will open their new venue at 123 Empire Street, with the original play, The Prince and the Golden Egg.

LUNENBURG - Members of the Textile Artists Collective of Nova Scotia (TAC) are delighted to bring their latest show, Textiles Reimagined, to the South Shore. This unique exploration of contemporary textile art will be on display at the Lunenburg Art Gallery from Nov. 5-10.
