BRIDGEWATER - King Street is one of Bridgewaters busiest streets, but over the past two years there have been delays for people who travel this route.

BRIDGEWATER – A gem of the South Shore – downtown Bridgewater. A place along the beautiful LaHave River where you can take a walk, do some shopping, grab a slice of pizza, have a bevy and get some ice cream for dessert.

MILL VILLAGE - The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit has upgraded a charge to Second-Degree Murder after the death of the victim of an assault in Mill Village.

BRIDGEWATER - A man has been arrested and is facing charges following an investigation into an armed robbery on the morning of April 21. 

MODL - The Municipality of the District of Lunenburg (MODL) will hold the line on property tax for the coming year.

PINE GROVE - The Southwest Nova RCMP Major Crime Unit (SWN MCU) is continuing its investigation into the homicide of Donny Lohnes and is appealing for anyone with information to come forward by releasing a video featuring his family.

MAHONE BAY – Timeless Transformations has gone through a transformation into a whimsical paradise.

BRIDGEWATER – Many awards were handed out at the annual regional science fair held March 28 at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre.

LIVERPOOL - Queens Neighbourhood Co-operative Housing Ltd. (QNCH) has asked Region of Queens council to allow them to push back the start of construction on a planned 30-unit affordable housing development off Lawrence Street until Aug. 31, 2025.

BRIDGEWATER - Since the COVID-19 pandemic, town council has approved the construction of 2,000 new housing units, with another 3,000 more in the queue and ready to come online in the next 10 years. Those numbers are impressive but could be daunting when you consider that those new units will effectively double the town’s current 4,000 units.
