ANCTIL-HIGGINS

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Janet Anctil-Higgins on May 28, 2026, in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, at the age of 66.

Born in Davenport, Iowa, Janet lived with MS from an early age and faced this challenge with strength, resilience, and determination. She was a loving mother, a beaming grandmother and beloved friend to many.

She was predeceased by her brother Tom, mother Theresa and father Bob. And is survived by son Jordan, daughter Shelby, granddaughters Thea and Chloe and brothers Jim and Steve and family.

We will remember her for her strong spirit, creativity, and unwavering love for those closest to her. 

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Donations can be made in her honour with the MS society. Her final wish was to further MS research and she is now doing so with dal university. 

As such, funeral arrangements will take place at a later date.
