CROUSE
Paulette Nellie (Wamboldt)
February 14, 2026

Age 77 years, of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born April 22, 1948 in Bridgewater, she was a daughter of the late Max Arthur and Emily Elizabeth (Weagle) Wamboldt.
As a young adult, Paulette regularly met with a small group of other ladies within the community; during one of these meetings, she heard the gospel explained in a way she had not heard before, and after this meeting she accepted The Lord Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Her life has exemplified the love she had for Jesus; as a wife, a wonderful and exceptional mother, and in her servitude to her community. It was through Christ that she served and it was through God's strength that carried her through decades of suffering a painful medical illness and much heartbreak.
Although Paulette was a stay at home mom, she worked along side her late husband with the family trucking business, V & P Trucking. Later years she worked a short period as an office custodian, for the former Bowater Mersey Paper Company, Oakhill. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Camperdown, which was a big part of her life; she held positions as Counselor, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School teacher extraordinaire, Lady's Aid, and was a best sounding voice.
Paulette is survived by her children, Karen (Clay) Weagle, Bridgewater; Shari (Chris) McCreanor, London, Ontario; Tammy Crouse, Bridgewater; David (Tammy) Crouse, Camperdown; grandchildren; Steven (Nicole) McCreanor, Jordan (Jess) McCreanor, Nolan (Sydne) Arenburg, Dominique (Josh) Arenburg, Dustin (Kenzie) Crouse, Cameron (Chloe) Crouse, Nick (Jasmine) (Aurora) Selig; great grandchild, Harper Crouse (Dustin and Kenzie); her siblings, Wanda McCarthy, and Joanne (Robert) Clattenburg; and all of her nieces and nephews.
Besides her father, Max Wamboldt, and mother, Emily Croft; she was predeceased by her husband, Vernon John Crouse; brother, Max Jr. "Maxie" Wamboldt.
