EISNER

89, Italy Cross, died January 27, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. 

Born in Camperdown, Lunenburg County, she was the youngest of the eight children of the late Fred and Jenny (Stewart) Naugler. 

She is survived by her sons Brian (Natasha) and Wendell, both of Italy Cross, three grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters. She was predeceased by her husband, Lorie Eisener, her six brothers and one sister. 

She worked at the original Dawson Memorial Hospital and the Metropolitan Store in Bridgewater before attending Bridgewater Commercial School. Following graduation with honours, she worked for Eisener’s Wholesale Ltd. until its closing.  

She was a member of St Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bridgewater, where she volunteered with St Paul’s Ladies’ Aid and the Evangelical Lutheran Women. Barbara lived a life full of devotion to God and family.
