FRITTENBURG

Age 71, of Bridgewater. It is with heavy hearts that we announce his peaceful passing surrounded by the love of his family on May 17, 2025 at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.

Kim grew up in Blue Rocks and was the son of the late Lloyd and Jeanette (Hynick) Frittenburg and brother to Toby (Jimmy) Ernst and the late Kevin Frittenburg.

Kim was a devoted employee at Michelin Bridgewater for 30 years. He was a jack of all trades taking on projects around his home and the homes of his family. His failing health over the last few years had hindered his ability to physically help with projects, but he could still narrate in great detail how to get the job done.

The most important things in his life were his loved ones, especially his wife, Dianne (Mader) Frittenburg, of over 52 beautiful years. They have been together since they were teenagers and as Kim would always say he knew it was “love at first sight”. They had an adventurous life together traveling all over the world and spending their summers at Ponhook Campground. In some of his last words he told his family he had “absolutely no regrets”.

Kim was a true family man. Proud father to Andy (Mallory) and Chad (Sarah) and even prouder grandfather to Kennedy (Brandon Hastings), Brendan, Owen (Willa Jensen), Josey (Cohen Westlake) and the late Lily Frittenburg. Together they shared a lifetime of celebrations, meals, vacations, and fond memories made at “The Lake”.

Over the years he had many beloved and devoted four legged family members and leaves behind Max and Charlie to miss his ever-present companionship and cuddles.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Kim can be made to the Health Services Foundation of the South Shore in appreciation of the care he received in the community.

Rest easy Kim, Dad, Papa. You were deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
