GARBER

It’s with shattered and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Bridget M Garber on June 1, 2025. Bridget passed peacefully surrounded by family and friends in the ICU unit at Northern Lights hospital.

Bridget was the second youngest born to Shirley Whynot (Webster) and the late Loren Garber in Bridgewater, NS.

Bridget loved Christmas and decorating her and Kevin’s home like a Christmas showroom. At a young age she had a very passionate and green thumb for her house plants which she loved. If you would see her out for lunch, she would be enjoying a good plate of fish and chips. Later she moved to Fort McMurray to be with her spouse Kevin. She loved to travel, especially home to see her family and friends, which she loved and cherished so much.

Besides her parents, Bridget is survived by her spouse Kevin Lowe; daughters Brittany (Ryan) and Niketa (Darren); grandchildren Chloe, Christine, Kayden, and Raylene; great-grandchildren James and Rowan. Bridget also leaves behind her brother and sisters: Donna (Jimmy); Philip (Tara); Cathy (Vernon); Brenda (Johnny); Vicki “Perlie” Whynot; many nieces and nephews; stepchildren Courtney and Nick (Ashton), and step-grandchildren Braeden, Parker.

Bridget was predeceased by her Dad Loren Garber; mother-in-law Wanda; brother-in-law Leslie Wile; and uncles Donny and Wendell Slauenwhite.

Special thanks to Northern Lights ICU department and special thanks to Nurse Katie for the amazing care she provided to our wife, daughter, mother, sister, and friend.

A celebration of life will be held at Wileville Fire Hall on August 16, 2025, from 1 - 3 p.m.
