GLADMAN

March 9, 1943 – August 4, 2025

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Patricia (Pat, Patty) Forbes Gladman, a loving partner, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia, Pat grew up in Newmarket and then Port Credit, Ontario. Pat attended the University of Western Ontario in London before returning to Newmarket where she raised her two children. At the age of 50, Pat moved to the South Shore of Nova Scotia, where she met her life partner James and joyfully spent the last 32 years of her life.

Pat will be forever missed by her partner James, her daughter Kathleen (Andrea), her granddaughter Hannah, her son Matt (Christine), her grandsons Daniel and Josiah, her brothers Gord (Lise) and Joe (Jackie), as well as by her cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Herb (Sandy).

Pat will be remembered for her sense of humour, her love of music, and her willingness to help those in need. She most enjoyed exploring nature with James, spending time with family, playing cards with friends, and listening to live folk music. Her spirit lives on in all who knew and loved her.
