Peacefully passed away surrounded by his family at Wildpine Residence in Stittsville after a short battle with cancer. Loving husband to Joyce Derraugh. Loving father to Stephen (Carol). Predeceased by his wife Beverley (Green) of 56 years, parents Donald and Thelma (Penny), sister Carolyn Potts (Hebb) and brother-in-law Bruce Potts. Proud grandfather to Christopher (Kristen) and Kaitlin (Ethan). Wade loved telling stories of his 25 years in the CF Sigs, playing hockey and growing up in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. He especially enjoyed performing Merle Haggard songs on his guitar. Special thank you to Wildpine Residence staff for their friendship while he was in their care. Professional arrangements entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville. Interment at Letts Corners Cemetery, Eganville. A family celebration of life will take place at a later date.
