HENLEY

We announce with broken hearts the passing of Madeline Sharon Henley, 81, of Chelsea, on September 21, 2025, at the South Shore Regional Hospital. She was born October 28, 1943, to the late Clyde and Jean (Boland) Uhlman.

Madeline was a very active community member and was involved in many organizations, including the Chelsea United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her loving family: husband Mervin; sons Laurie and Stephen (Nancy) of Chelsea, NS; four grandsons and 7 great grandchildren; siblings Linda, Brenda, Brian, Valerie, and Kerry.

Besides her parents, Madeline was predeceased by her in-laws George and Beatrice Henley, and two brothers-in-law’s.

A public graveside service will be held in Maple Grove Cemetery, Chelsea. Time and date will be posted when confirmed. Memorial donations may be made to the Chelsea United Baptist Church or charity of choice.
