KELLY

Of Northfield, passed away July 27, 2026 in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, with Joanne by his side.

Born on May 26, 1943 in Watford, he was a son of the late Cedric and Hazel (Lohnes) Kelly.

Ray was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, West Northfield, and an honorary member of the Northfield District Fire Department. He worked with the Department of Transportation as a surveyor and an Engineering Aid for 35 years. Ray loved working in his tree lots with Cedric and Jeff. He was always ready and willing to help anyone he could. How he loved his Ford trucks and cars and also loved the Flea markets and yard sales. Family meant a lot to Ray, always enjoying family gatherings in Broad Cove.

Ray is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne; son Jeff; sister-in-law Susan, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Stanley.

Pallbearers were Bruce Veinotte, Bruce Rhodenizer, Glen Rhodenizer, Pat Gaul, Raymond Bruhm, and Jeremy Ernst.

Funeral service was held from R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, with burial at Hillside Cemetery, Upper Northfield, Pastors Annette Smith and Catherine Robar officiated.

The family would like to thank those sent cards, memorials, made phone calls, and sent food to our home. To David Zwicker for the lovely music, and to Pastors Annette Smith and Catherine Robar for a lovely service.
