Stanley “Stan” Errol Knell, 72, of New Germany passed away peacefully at South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, with his family by his side.

He is survived by his wife of thirty-four years, Carol; proud and loving father to Brandon (Rachelle DeMone), New Germany; sister of Dianne Ferguson and family of Montreal, and his furbaby, Iggy.

Stan was a gifted artist, had an amazing green thumb, loved all kinds of music, and sang in many different choirs over the years. He was also a proud member of the New Germany and Area Lions Club for many years.

The family would like to thank the staff on the third floor of South Shore Regional Hospital for all their wonderful and compassionate care shown to Stan, you are all Angels. We would like to especially thank Dr. Diane Edmonds, Dr. Heather Robertson, and Dr. Anne Chiasson for all their care and being with us this whole time.

In keeping with Stan’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there is to be no public memorial service. Arrangements entrusted to Personal Care Cremations.

In lieu of flowers, donation to the New Germany and Area Lions Club would be appreciated by the family.
