Joanne Louise Lohnes (nee Himmelman), born May 26, 1951, passed away peacefully Monday August 24, 2026, in Calgary, AB at the age of 75 after a short illness.

Joanne was born in Bridgewater, NS and lived most of her life in the surrounding area. Joanne did anything for her boys and passed on her love of animals to both of them. She enjoyed reading, cooking, games with friends, spending time with her family and pets.

Joanne is survived by her sons, John (Lori), and Joel; niece, Vicki Conrad (Philip).

Joanne was predeceased by her parents Maurice and Louise Himmelman, her brothers, Robert (Janet), David (Debbie); and half siblings, Charles Zwicker (Ginnie), and Betty MacNiel (Norm).
