MORRISON

John 88 , of Gold River, passed away peacefully on Oct. 26 2024 at Mahone Nursing Home. 

He was the son of the late Charles and Lillian Morrison of Timmins , Ont. He was preceded by 

his wife Marilyn ( Gold River ) ,son Captain Mike Morrison of Eastern Passage and sister 

Audrey Enright from Ontario. He is survived by son David and daughter in law Gloria ( Sawler ) , 

son Patrick and daughter in law Barb and son Peter from Gold River. John spent most of his 

time policing with the RCMP. He was stationed in New Brunswick , Yukon , Manitoba and 

Newfoundland. He met his wife , Marilyn , in Whitehorse , YT where their ashes will be 

returned this summer. Thank you to all the staff of Mahone Nursing Home for all your hard work
