O'TOOLE

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Terrance (Terry) Edward O'Toole 64, of Lunenburg NS. He passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at home.

Born in Placentia NL he was the son of the late Edward and Margaret (Bryne) O'Toole.

Terry moved to Nova Scotia at a young age with 3 brothers and welcomed another 2 brothers after settling into his new home province. He grew up with sea in his blood and spent much of his life working on the water starting at a very young age. He grew up fast on the decks of boats as both a scallop and shrimp fisherman, work he took pride in, and through which he built lifelong friendships.

Country music was the soundtrack of his life, simple songs, honest words, and familiar tunes that fit him just right.

When he wasn't on the ocean, Terry found peace in the outdoors. He loved to hunt and fish, and he treasured the quiet moments spent in the woods or on the water.

He is survived by daughter, Ashley (Michael) O'Toole Zinck, Farmington; son, Christopher (Savannah) O'Toole, Conquerall Mills, Aaron Conrad, Halifax who he lovingly raised from a young age; grandchildren, Hayden, Brier, Madelyn, Egan; brothers, Brendan (Marjorie) Fauxburg, Colin, Mill Village, Leslie (Denise), Cambridge, ON, Eddie, Truro, and Tyrone, St. John NB.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy 3, Lunenburg and from where a funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12 at 2:00 pm. Interment to take place at a later date.
