78, of Middlewood, passed away September 9, 2026, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born on April 20, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Burton and Adah “Marie” Bollivar.

Sharon was a dedicated member of the Middlewood United Church, and later the Calvary Lutheran Church. She was part of the choir, and active in the Ladies Auxiliary, or the “sewing circle” as her family called it. She was wonderful with needle and thread, making many quilts for both her home, church, and others. In the summertime, Sharon could often be found on the road with her sister Heather, spending their weekends scouting for yard sales. Sharon also loved books and was an avid reader. Being a lady of faith, she was especially an avid reader of the Bible. Sharon loved to laugh, and her laughter will be sorely missed by her family, friends, and neighbors.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband of nearly 60 years, Stanley; son, Mark; brothers, Ian (Cathy) Bollivar and Dale (Kelly) Bollivar; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, Sharon is predeceased by her sisters Heather and Shelia; and brother Blair.

A memorial service to celebrate Sharon’s life was held at 11am on Tuesday September 15, 2026, in Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Bridgewater. Rev. Willis Ott officiating. Interment followed the service in Middlewood United Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Sharon’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
