STELLINGA

STELLINGA - With grieving hearts, the family of Carolyn Jean Stellinga, 81, of London, Ontario (formally of Lunenburg), passed away on Tuesday, February. 4, 2025 at LHSC – Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario.

Born in Feltzen South on December 26th, 1943, she was a daughter of Carl and Bernice (Creaser) Corkum.

Carolyn began her working career doing administrative work at the Esso office in Halifax before moving to Ontario to work in Esso’s Toronto office. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like dancing, playing cards and nature, especially enjoying the beauty of flowers.

Carolyn is survived by stepdaughters, Debbie and Yolanda, both of London, Ont., Marion (Vancouver); sister, Janet Steen, Lunenburg and niece, Michelle Steen, Lunenburg.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Henk Stellinga and sister, Rose in infancy.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213 Hwy 3, Lunenburg.  Cremation has taken place.  Interment will be held at a later date.
