STEWART

70, of Italy Cross, passed away at home on July 9, 2025. Born on August 30, 1954, she was a daughter of Phyllis (Richard) and the late Harry “LEE” Stewart.

Shirley lived a life marked by warmth, kindness, and a happy outlook. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially baking, and gardening and playing cards.

She will be deeply missed by her husband, Weldon, and their children, Andrew, and Charlotte; her mother, Phyllis; sisters Trina Fancy and family, and Lynne Stewart (Walter Tanner).

Besides her father, she was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Jeannine Strong.

Arrangements were under the direction of R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Rev. Willis Ott officiating.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the Italy Cross and Middlewood Fire Department, and to the paramedics for their care and compassion.
