It is with much sadness that we have to say goodbye to Phyllis, age 85 of Bridgewater, Lunenburg Co., a loving sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Born in Lake Pleasant, Annapolis Co., she was the daughter of the late Aseph and Hilda (Tufts) Varner.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Sherry (Kevin) Whynot; grandchildren, Matthew (Kayla) Acker, Dawn (Luke) Acker, Andrew Stewart and Apryl Stewart; and her great-grandchildren, Braxton Acker, Keygan, Conner and Colton Stewart, along with her sister, Pearl (Lawrence) Mailman and brother, Roscoe Varner, and many nieces and nephews
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by the love of her life, Raymond Frazee; her daughter, Sandra Acker; son, Mathew Whynot; sisters, Udavilla (Randolph) Conrad and Eileen (Ronald) Veinotte; and her sister in law, Sharon Varner.
She had spent most of her life working retail, cleaning, and many different jobs, but once meeting Ray, she found her love of the outdoors, camping and many trips just driving around. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, branch 24 - Ladies Auxiliary, Bridgewater, for many years; they spent many nights together there talking with old friends.
Cremation has taken place and a private family interment with be held at the Springfield United Baptist Church Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Springfield United Baptist Church.
