It is with profound sorrow that the family of Vicki Lynn Wagner, 55, of Lunenburg, announce her sudden passing, at home, on Thursday, July 24, 2025.

Born in Springhill, she was the daughter of Victor and Lila (Brown) Wagner.

Vicki dedicated her 39-year career to caring for others at Harbour View Haven, Home for Special Care, in Lunenburg.  Her kindness and compassion positively impacted countless individuals and families, leaving a lasting legacy of care. Vicki enjoyed close relationships with colleagues and considered many of them, past and present, her dearest friends.

Although a quiet person, Vicki was fond of family and friends’ gatherings. Always smiling and making everyone feel loved. Music was her soul's language and she delighted in singing along to her favorite songs. Vicki adored her two daughters, Lily and Maggie, and was extremely proud of their accomplishments. She had a very special relationship with her mother, Lila, and her little brother, Shannon, whom she considered her closest confidants.

Vicki is survived by her daughters Lily McAuley, Lunenburg and Maggie McAuley, Halifax; mother, Lila Wagner; brother, Shannon Wagner (Phillip MacEachern); nephews Ryan and Liam, and niece Emily. She is predeceased by her father Victor Wagner.

Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of the Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, 11213, Hwy 3, Lunenburg and from where a Celebration of Life gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, August 29 at 2:00 pm.

Vicki was devoted to her work at Harbour View Haven and considered many residents and staff her extended family. The family wishes to recognize that devotion by requesting that any memorial donations be made to Harbour View Haven, Home for Special Care, PO Box 1480, Lunenburg, NS  B0J 2C0.
