WENTZELL

Age 91, of Bridgewater, NS. Passed away on July 28, 2026, after a brief stay at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. She was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Evelyn (Hughes) Garrison. 

Born in Halifax, NS, Dale attended Queen Elizabeth High School and Maritime Business College. Dale married Robert N. Wentzell in 1956. Bob and Dale lived in many areas in NS, Fort Frances, ON, and New Zealand before returning to NS for retirement, in Pleasantville, NS.

Dale will be greatly missed by sons, Stephen (Samran), Oxford, NS, Chris, McCreary, MB, Mark (Jocelyn), Newburne, NS, Paul (Shelley), Mississauga, ON; grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlin, Lindsay, Danielle, Adam, Shauna, Trevor and Cake; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Sloan, Aryan, River, Ashton and Julia; brother, Harold (Janet); sisters, Judy deDecker, Beverly Conrod, Peggy (Rick) Grant, Debbie Daiken.

Dale was predeceased by her husband, Robert Nichols Wentzell; brothers, Graham, Jack and Charles; and sisters, Barbara Kirby, Nancy Guptill, and Marjorie Theakston.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to South Shore Hospice - Palliative Care Society, or a charity of your choice.
