81, of Chester, N.S. passed away in her home early on August 3, 2026.

Frances was born in Chester and lived there for her entire life. She was the younger daughter of the late Lewis and Edna Nauss.

She is survived by her sons Paul, Scott (Crystal), Geoffrey (Katie), Gregory and James, and by her sister Marjorie Eisner and her dog OD. She is predeceased by her husband Clayton and her son Richard.

Frances was a loving mother, a devoted wife and a friend to so many people.

The family would like to thank all the caregivers, medical support services and friends for their generous support and kindness.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on August 29 at Bayview Cemetery in Chester followed by a celebration of Frances’ life at the St. Stephen’s Anglican community hall.
