If you’re thinking about entering a triathlon next summer, now’s a good time to start training. I’m 68 years old and am looking at a sprint for May and an Olympic distance triathlon later in the summer. Not bad for someone who was nicknamed “creampuff” in junior high, never made a sports team she tried out for, and only ever “won” a medal for showing up at the start line, plodding along in first gear, and crossing the finish line all on the same day.
